A family ranch in Central Texas

How JEAR got started
The ranch history begins with founder Ashley Duncan growing up around cattle, rabbits, parrots and other animals on a working family ranch near San Antonio. That early experience expanded into small-exotic breeding programs, and Janda Exotics was formally created in San Marcos in January 2008.
After years of developing breeding programs, the operation moved to a larger Kingsbury property in 2016. The additional land made room for a wider range of species and later for scheduled private animal experiences.
